WHALE WATCHING

Hout Bay, South Africa has the privilege of hosting one of the most diverse and picturesque whale watching locations in the world. All year-round, a wide variety of species call our coastal waters home, from the shy and illusive Brydes whales to the more curious Southern Rights. The real showstoppers though, are the large families of Humpback whales who bypass our bay as part of their annual migration. With super-groups of between 20 and 100 whales feeding, breaching and interacting with each other within metres from the boat, this is a bucket list experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
